Day five: A picture of somewhere I’ve been to.
The embarrassment of my life that I’ve only ever been abroad once. My mam refused to take me out of the country on holidays when I was younger. She said it was because she wanted me to experience travelling with my friends rather than family. Which I think is a cool enough idea. But I think the real reason is ‘cos we had no money. But I’ve been pretty much all over Ireland (woo) and every summer from when I was eight to sixteen I spent about five week on the Aran Islands. Inis Meain mainly. So yeaaah not alot of things to do really. Build up on my Irish, go fishing, go drinking, walking around the island around the cliffs and stones meet the sea and driving around the island on shitty little mopeds. I was deprived as a child haha. But I’ve sat on the edge of this 100 meters high cliff called Dun Aengus on Inis Mór loads of times with the wind going mental. Dare devil for lyf!
